The UV filters are suitable for both black and color films under bright sunshine. which could be used to limit UV light and also as lens protector.Filter absorb ultra violet rays to create sharper contrasts to images, film or videotape.
 
This Fotga ultra-slim MC UV is with multi-coatings which permits higher light-transmit rate comparing to uncoated UV filters.
